The jewellery, the fixed deposit certificate and the SIP are all investments, but almost no tool holds them together. MyArthIQ treats them as one portfolio — priced live where a live price exists, and recorded plainly where it doesn't.

Why some things are entered by hand

NPS, ULIP and PMS/AIF have no public per-unit price you can look up — the provider reports a value to you. Rather than invent a ticker for them, MyArthIQ gives them a simple Name / Current value / Total contributed form, which is exactly how those statements read.

Knowing your real return

Money goes in on different dates, so a simple percentage lies. The free XIRR calculator gives the true annualised return across irregular contributions, and CAGR compares holdings held for different lengths of time.
